For those little ones who just can’t wait to be a Young Chef. Here’s something just for you. APEC little cooks will have fun learning about an animal, and then help make a delicious snack to compliment what they’ve learned.

Meet an animal whose eyes are as red as a cherry, Sam the Box Turtle. Make some different crawling critters out of cherries, cherry tomatoes, celery, and cheese spread, but don’t throw away the scraps! We’ll make a feast for Sam with cherry tomatoes and his favorite… worms. Yum! Icing and sprinkles may be used as decoration.
