The Chasewood Robotics Academy is a comprehensive after school program where children are learning to design, build, and program robots using their school computers.

Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class is led by Chasewood Learning’s teacher led instruction followed by fun, engaging and dynamic activities.

Younger students, typically K through third grade, start with the LEGO Education WeDo system, building a different robotic project each week and programming it! Independent building challenges will be given to students as they progress through levels.

Older students, typically third grade and up, use the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot, learning basic moves and how to program the basic robot before moving on to more challenges, adding on robotic arms, sensors and more!

  • ** No class 4/22 **

  • Students will be allowed ONE makeup class to be arranged with the class instructor.

  • Space in this class is limited, and is first come, first serve. Due to this, we cannot guarantee a space for a sibling of a student who makes it into the roster. If spaces become available, they will be offered to those on the waitlist, in order of registration.
