For those who believe, or don't, this history of Christianity interrogates some of the disputes that have helped to shape Christians through history and around the world.  Participants should gain better awareness of the role of controversy and compromise in Christian history regarding scripture, Jesus, authority, grace, science and sexuality.

Picture of Brian A. Pavlac Brian A. Pavlac is a Professor Emeritus of History from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. His publications include A Concise Survey of Western Civilization: Supremacies and Diversities Throughout History (4th Edition), Game of Thrones Versus History: Written in Blood, and Witch Hunts in the Western World. He currently serves as a priest in The Episcopal Church. He has studied and lived in Germany and Austria and currently resides in Berea.
