Join us at Hospice of Northwest Ohio to participate in The Virtual Dementia Tour® (VDT). VDT is an evidence-based experience created to build a greater understanding and empathy of people living with dementia. How does it work? Participants wear special gear that alters their senses (vision, hearing, touch) to mimic the effects of dementia, while completing tasks that highlight the challenges faced by people with the disease. *There will be sensory alterations, including a strobe light. If you have a medical condition that prohibits this, please indicate this upon registering. There is ample parking at the location.

Dawn Gramling, Social Work Hospice Educator, will be your dementia guide and facilitator for this experience. Hospice of Northwest Ohio is the region’s leading hospice provider, with more than 40 years of nonprofit experience. What began at our Perrysburg campus has grown into five locations serving communities across the region.
