Class | Registration opens 5/15/2026 8:58 AM EDT

This course breaks down the body of research known as the “Science of Reading” in a clear, practical way. We will explore how the brain learns to read as well as literacy models that inform effective reading instruction. We will discuss phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. This class will include examples, tools, and ideas you can use to help children grow into confident, capable readers.
