Supportive Yoga

This Supportive Yoga course is for participants of all levels. We will practice yoga using a chair for support, if needed, and guide you through a gentle course focusing on increasing mobility, strength, and balance. This course will improve your flexibility, help prevent falls, improve bone density, and teach you how to connect your breath with your movement. It will be both relaxing and energizing. Please dress in comfortable clothes and non-slip shoes.
Cynthia Johannes-Beecher
Cynthia Johannes-Beecher is the owner of Your Yoga. She received her undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Duquesne University and master’s degree in health care administration from Central Michigan University. Johannes-Beecher began private yoga teaching in 2020. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, and received certifications from My Vinyasa Practice. She is an E-RYT 500 certified teacher and a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider.
