An Overview of York County History: A Tour of the York County History Center

This experience is an hour-long guided tour with time to explore on your own. The exhibit gallery displays 300+ years of York County history in a thematic layout highlighting building, growing, energizing, making, and innovation.

  • The York County History Center is located at 121 N. Pershing Ave, York, PA 17401. The parking lot is located past the museum building where Pershing Ave. becomes Gay Ave.

Caroline Travers

Caroline Travers is the manager of public programs at the York County History Center. She has been with the History Center for more than five years in several capacities. In her role as manager of public programs, she organizes group tours, plans dynamic programming, and more.
