This course will analyze the results of the 2026 midterm elections, explore the forces that drove those results, and consider their implications for the remainder of President Trump's second term. We will also look ahead to how the midterm landscape sets the stage for the 2028 presidential race.

Nicolas Anspach

Nicolas Anspach is a professor of political science at the York College of Pennsylvania, where he also serves as the director of the Arthur J. Glatfelter Institute for Public Policy. He teaches courses on American politics, campaigns & elections, and the news media, and his research investigates how political communication shapes our attitudes.
