Temples of Ancient Egypt

Course | Registration opens 8/3/2026 8:00 AM EDT

This course will give an overview of the purpose of temples in ancient Egypt using specific temples as examples. It will touch on related aspects of ancient Egyptian religion, culture, and language. We will see how some of these things are related to several of the more well-known biblical narratives. And we will see how some aspects of ancient Egyptian religion and architecture have been incorporated into our own modern-day culture.
