National Parks are enjoyed by millions for the beauty of the landscape, wildlife, night skies, hiking, boating, etc. But not everyone can appreciate what is in front of them. Let’s explore some of the so-called ‘subpar parks’ and learn how to get the most out of your experience. Feel free to share some of your sub-par park experiences.
Carl Knoch
Carl Knoch earned a B.S. in marketing and a masters in administration from Penn State. Over the course of his career in marketing and marketing research he worked in such diverse businesses as advertising, financial services, computer games, and rail trail development. He met his wife Anne in 1988. Together, so far, they have visited more than one hundred National Park Service sites including forty-seven National Parks.
Anne Knoch
Anne earned a B.S. in secondary education from Towson University and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore. She worked for the Xerox Corporation for forty-one years in human resources and customer education. Currently she volunteers at the library in New Freedom/Shrewsbury. Knich is also her family's chief vacation planner. Having worked in the Baltimore and Washington area, she prefers vacations where she can enjoy nature.
