McGrath's Legacy Book Club: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot

Henrietta Lacks was a poor tobacco farmer whose cells were taken without her knowledge by scientists. These cells are still alive today and have become one of the most important tools in medicine. A discussion on the book will be held. Participation is encouraged but not required.
