Community Progress Council's Impact on Poverty

Course | Registration opens 8/3/2026 8:00 AM EDT

The Community Progress Council (CPC) is York County's community action agency. Our mission is to empower people to move toward financial self-sufficiency. This presentation will describe the difference between poverty and self-sufficiency in practical terms, outline the barriers to self-sufficiency, and describe CPC's innovative and highly successful service delivery model. Participants will learn how CPC returned $2.4M to York County's economy last year and hear how the organization plans to expand its impact moving forward.
