Join us for six movies from the 1980s from various genres: The Witches of Eastwick (1987, dark comedy, R ), Dead Poets Society (1989, drama, PG), A Room with a View (1985, romance, Not Rated), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988, comedy, PG), Stand by Me (1986, adventure, R), and Blade Runner (1982, sci-fi, R). Another lovely mix of laughs, tears, action, and suspense. Once again, we will watch the film and then have a lively discussion afterward. All of these movies have closed captions.

Christine (Chris) Staats has a B.S. in secondary mathematics education from Shippensburg University. She has been teaching mathematics at the high school level for more than forty years with joy in her heart.
