What's So Great About Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain?

This course will be a PowerPoint presentation dealing with the life of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain who is best known as the officer who saved the day at the battle of Little Round Top at Gettysburg. In addition to being a famous soldier, he was also a college professor and college president, minister, governor, and surveyor. Photographs, paintings, posters, flags, and other memorabilia dealing with Chamberlain's life will be displayed.

Curtis Weber

Rev. Curt Weber is a retired minister with a Master of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary and a bachelor's degree from Elizabethtown College. He served as pastor at St. John's Blymire's UCC in Dallastown for twenty-four years and is Pastor Emeritus of that church. He has also done extensive research on the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln, and Joshua L. Chamberlain. He has also done Civil War Round Table presentations in Brunswick, Maine.
