Lead Toxicity: How it Affects Us and What We Can Do (Spartan Spotlight)

The course will describe how lead in paint and household items affects the body and developing brain. It will also provide resources and explanations of how to recognize and mitigate those hazards in our everyday lives. 

Jessica Zartman

Jessica Zartman is the Director of the Urban Collaborative at York College's Center for Community Engagement. She has a degree in sociology and a masters in public policy and administration. She works with community partners and residents in direct outreach to support the health and wellbeing of York City residents through education and advocacy.
