Community Wildlife Safety

Raven Ridge Wildlife Center is a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation center located in Lancaster County. Raven Ridge specializes in the care of injured, orphaned, and abandoned birds of prey, mammals, waterfowl, and adult songbirds. This course provides an in-depth look at the field of wildlife rehabilitation from intake to release. Participants will also learn what to do if they ever encounter a wild animal in need to keep themself and the animal as safe as possible as they get it to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.

Molly Snavely

Molly Snavely is the education coordinator for Raven Ridge Wildlife Center. She was born and raised in Lancaster County has a degree in education from Millersville University. After college, Snavely sought new opportunities to work with youth and stumbled upon environmental education. She has traveled across the country to work in several different states, learning all sorts of new skills along the way.
