Explore the history of cannabis as medicine and the science behind the endocannabinoid system, focusing on how cannabis interacts with the body. This course will also cover patient certification and cannabis use, how Pennsylvania's Medical Marijuana Program came into existence, current qualifying conditions recognized under state law, and where cannabis legislation stands today. Livia Baublitz

Dr. Livia Baublitz is a board-certified physiatrist with nearly 20 years' experience, practicing in Lancaster, PA at RHEMA Medical and Wellness Center and Verdant Health. A physician in PA's Medical Cannabis Program since its inception in 2018, she specializes in musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, lifestyle medicine, and cannabis therapeutics. A York, PA native, she's passionate about improving patients' quality of life and health span.
