Course | Registration opens 2/1/2027 8:00 AM EDT

In a stunning program, the YSO concludes its year-long celebration of Ludwig von Beethoven with a full-circle event: Beethoven’s First and Ninth Symphonies in one program. The German indulged his innovative spirit when creating his First Symphony, which is renowned for announcing its author’s originality. The York Symphony Orchestra and Chorus join together to perform Beethoven’s final masterpiece, the Ninth Symphony. The work’s enduring grandeur continues to inspire generations of music lovers and stands as a testament to the power of music to unite and inspire.

Join Lawrence Golan as he discusses the work to be performed the following night at the Strand Theater.
