The Aging Brain Vs. Dementia: Should I be Concerned?

This course will help participants learn the difference between normal age-related cognitive decline and the disease process of neurological diseases like Alzheimer’s Disease; know the warning signs of dementia; recognize strategies to help cope with normal age-related decline; and understand the components of brain health and strategies to keep your brain as sharp as possible.

Joel Kroft

Joel Kroft is the executive director of memory support services for Country Meadows Retirement Communities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in human development from Oswego State University and attended graduate studies in adult development and aging at Virginia Tech. Before working for Country Meadows for the last 22 years, Kroft worked in memory care, assisted living, CCRC, and adult day care levels of senior care.
