The Peach Bottom Welsh and Slate Industry

This course will present the story of the Peach Bottom slate industry as well as a short history of the Welsh immigrants who played a major part in making it a success as the finest roofing slate in the world.
Don Robinson
Don Robinson grew up in Cardiff, Maryland and currently lives in Delta, Pennsylvania. He graduated from North Harford High School and has a B.S. in management from York College of Pennsylvania. Robinson is retired from the Constellation/Exelon Corporation, and is the current project lead of the Welsh Cottages at Coulsontown, which are owned by The Old Line Museum of Delta.
