Did you know the building that was once home to the Lafayette Club is now a York College of Pennsylvania building? Join Hunter Conrad, Director of Community Programs, for a behind-the-scenes look at the Gunter-Smith Center for Community Engagement and discover how this historic space is being used today.

From gallery events and cooking experiences to community activities and meetings, the Center plays a vibrant role for YCP. You’ll also learn more about the building’s fascinating history and its days as the Lafayette Club.

The tour will last approximately one hour with an easy 2-block walk to either restaurant afterwards.  Registration for the tour is required.

Registration for lunch (at your own expense) does not obligate you but will give us an approximate number for the restaurant. Location suggestions for lunch are Holy Hound on November 6 and Men in the Kitchen on November 20. Please register separately for lunch in addition to the tour.

Some two-hour on-street parking is available as well as the Public City Garage directly across the street from the Yorktowne Hotel.
