Radio Broadcasting Club
Club | Available (Membership Required)
Tune in to a new YC-LLI Club offering members a hands-on introduction to radio broadcasting! The Radio Broadcasting Club will meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month, beginning in October.
Members will meet in the York College Radio station, located on the third floor of the Student Union on YCP’s main campus. Each (approximately) one-hour meeting will include hands-on experience operating radio equipment, instruction on FCC rules and regulations, recognition of YC-LLI members’ accomplishments, and time for social interaction.
The club will be advised and supervised by Tom Gibson, with support from York College students and current radio supervisor Dr. Brian Gregory, who are excited to welcome YC-LLI members to the station and provide opportunities to participate in its operation.
Fall meeting dates: October 7 & 21, November 4 & 18, and December 2
Time: 1 p.m.
Please park in front of Beard Hall with your LLI parking permit.
