Liv, Haelee, and Alvina, the LLI Graham Fellows, are working on an exciting initiative to create a sustainable framework for meaningful, ongoing connections between York College students and YC-LLI members, fostering intergenerational learning, collaboration, and community.

We are hoping you’ll join us for our Cookies and Conversation: Understanding Biases, Relationships, and Radiating Sympathy Event. This event is on Tuesday, November 17th, 2026 from 3:30 - 5:00 P.M. in Alumni Hall.

In this event, there will be:

?? Connection Bingo: The classic game with a twist! Every life experience makes us unique, and makes for good stories. Share a laugh, make intergenerational connections, intergenerational connections and win exciting prizes!

?? Fall Crafting: A creative hands-on activity to relax, chat, and embrace the autumn season

??Decorate and Discuss: We will dive into deep discussions about the power of understanding biases, perspectives, relationships, personal-identity, and radiating sympathy for one another. We will decorate fall cookies for a sweet ending!

Space for this discussion is limited to a maximum of 25 participants. We look forward to seeing you there!
