Dare to Draw!
Each week we will learn beginning and intermediate drawing skills associated with various materials. There will be a new theme or challenge paired with each material. Some techniques/materials include: drawing BIG using pencil and paint, texture drawing with chalk pastels, mixed media collage, and ACTION drawing with charcoal.

  • When dropping off your child at their in-studio class, please remain with them until the instructor is present and has opened the studio. Likewise, please respect our instructor’s schedule by arriving on time when picking up your child from class.
  • Due to COVID-19, we will be providing individual supply kits for each student and all materials are included in the material fee.

As an artist, I love drawing and painting, especially with watercolor. My works draw inspiration from nature and imagination. I received my B.A. in Art Education (with a k-12 certification) from UNC in 2012. My goal as an art teacher is to inspire students to create personally-meaningful artwork. Through the discovery of multiple mediums, my hope is to encourage students to take risks and build confidence within their creations.
