This class offers an introduction to various forms of printmaking, with an exploration of relief, intaglio, monotype, and collograph. Students will view diverse examples and complete a small print in each technique. We’ll explore basic printmaking tools, processes, and vocabulary with the goal of understanding and appreciating different processes.
Materials are included, you may wish to purchase additional papers to be discussed at the first class.

All materials are furnished for this class.

Deb Rosenbaum is a printmaker and retired Visual Arts Director at Denver School of the Arts. She is a National Board Certified art educator and has been teaching art for over 35 years.

  • Tool and materials are provided in the materials fee but students may want to supplement with their own printing papers.

A Denver Native, Deb Rosenbaum is a professional artist with extensive art instruction experience including fifteen years as Visual Arts Director at Denver School of the Arts. Her humorous and quirky work in collage, printmaking, and sculpture reflects her passion for story telling and collecting, combining disparate materials. She currently serves as a Board member and faculty at the Art Students League of Denver.
