Drawing aptitude isn’t something you are born with. It’s a skill that can be mastered through mindful seeing, clear instruction, confidence building exercises, and practice. This class is designed for the beginner or those who need a little push to get back to a regular art practice. Come with a will to learn and you’ll definitely improve your drawing skills. Deb Rosenbaum is a professional artist and retired Visual Arts Director at Denver School of the Arts. She is a National Board Certified art educator and has been teaching people to draw for over 35 years.

  • Bring sketchbook to first class.
  • Sketchbook approximately 9 x 12"
  • 2H, 3B and 6B or Ebony pencil, & kneaded eraser
  • or white eraser.

A Denver Native, Deb Rosenbaum is a professional artist with extensive art instruction experience including fifteen years as Visual Arts Director at Denver School of the Arts. Her humorous and quirky work in collage, printmaking, and sculpture reflects her passion for story telling and collecting, combining disparate materials. She currently serves as a Board member and faculty at the Art Students League of Denver.
