This 5-week workshop is designed for the total beginner or those who want to jump start a neglected art practice.  You’ll discover why drawing stopped being fun and learn to get  back to mark making as an enjoyable activity.  You will  improve your ability to see by identifying shapes, lines, and values and become more adept at drawing what’s in front of you.  You’ll also be encouraged to doodle and find your own drawing vocabulary.

Classes will feature lots of examples, demos, critiques, and easy exercises.   You’ll see the greatest improvement by practicing with skill-building homework assignments.
