NEW! Creative Meditation: Self-awareness & Change

Adult Course | This program has been canceled

Join artist & mindfulness teacher, Quána Madison, for a 60-minute creative meditation workshop. This workshop will use a variety of mindfulness exercises and expressive arts-based activities to promote mindfulness and emotional and well-being. This session explores expressive arts-based exercises focused on self-awareness and managing change. Practicing self-awareness supports personal growth and skills to navigate changes in our lives. Even when change is positive, it can be difficult. Learning how to accept change nourishes personal growth, healing and recovery. During this session, participants will explore prompts that promote self-reflection on their identity and goals. Participants will also engage prompts that increase awareness of how they experience change and how they can improve their attitude towards transformation. They will have optional opportunities to share their art and thoughts with the group. Participants will be guided in focused meditation to close the session. Every class incorporates community building exercises.
