NEW! ONLINE - Developing a Landscape in Watercolor
Adult Course | This program is completed
There are few ready-made painting compositions so learning how to arrange the scene is at the heart of a great landscape painting. Value and color will be key in creating the overall structure and atmospheric perspective. Using value contrast and color temperature, discover how to apply them in the foreground, middle ground and background. Practice mixing colors to get the color right as you learn to warm or cool a color relative to the adjacent color. When you understand color and value relationships, always finding new scenes to paint will no longer be a challenge because you will be seeing in new ways. Reference material provided. Introductory watercolor experience needed.
