Ages 8-10 | Colorful Gelatin Prints

KA Summer Camp | This program is completed

Gelatin printing explores color mixing and layering in a spontaneous way. This class will use bright, water-based, non-toxic ink to make one-of-a-kind monotype prints as students learn to use printmaking tools to roll colorful ink onto a soft gelatin plate and transfer images with stencils and drawing techniques. Every student will go home with a portfolio of unique, colorful prints to display at home.

  • Students are encouraged to bring an apron or large oversized t-shirt to protect their clothing. Gelatin prints make a wonderful, colorful mess that cleans up with water.
  • All supplies are included in the materials fee and will be provided at ASLD.
