This cyanotype workshop introduces the fundamentals and history behind cyanotype printing and creating photograms. Group activities will include experiments with light to help students learn about optics and work with various printing materials for photograms on fabric. With this fabric, students select a pattern to create a stuffed animal using cyanotype fabric prints.
- All supplies are included in the materials fee and will be provided at ASLD.
Ashlae Shepler
Ashlae Shepler is an artist who enjoys experimenting with old cameras and historic photography techniques. As a freelance creative, she loves collaborating with creative teams, and she has served clients in fine arts organizations, small businesses and higher education. Her fine art photography has been exhibited in galleries located in Dallas, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Denver, Colorado. When she's not in the studio, she's hiking trails along the front range or cuddling with her cat.
