Make art that’s lost and found! Each day, students will make a piece of art or several that they can hide in the world. The possibilities are endless: art could be hidden in the park, around a garden, or hung on a tree.
I have my BFA in Sculpture from the University of Colorado at Denver and my Masters of Art Education from Regis. I’ve worked as a teacher for over 20 years for most art organizations in Denver like Art Reach, Denver Art Museum, Arvada Center, Adams 12, DPS and now Cherry Creek. Lately I’ve been loving ceramics. I also love collage, encaustic, mixed media and ceramics. I’m passionate about flow bliss, and helping others find theirs. I think flow connects us to our highest self, like meditating or prayer. I love our national parks, artists, the creative process and learning and growing. I love that my pieces live quietly in others homes and lives. I like making for the sake of making. I believe everyone has an inner creator. It’s just a matter of them finding their proclivities and propensities. My favorite part of teaching is helping others realize their vision, find their flow and help kids make something out of nothing. Tape and paper can create amazing things. It’s amazing seeing people surprise themselves with what they can do.
