Maps can show you where you’ve been – where you are – where you want to go.

Maps can tell stories of things both real and imaginary.

Use paper sculpture and mixed media (draw, collage, paint) to find ideas and learn skills to help you create what you envision.

Looking for: Curious Explorers willing to try new things and ask questions.

  • All supplies are included in the materials fee and will be provided at ASLD.

Creating a classroom community where students can realize that they are artists and learn to know their own creative process is my purpose and my joy. Teaching is the most creative and most important work that I do.
I taught for 19 years at the wild and wonderful world of Village East Elementary, CCSD. I continue to work as an adjunct professor for MSU Denver and UNC teaching Creative Thinking and working with Art Ed students.
