Level up your sewing skills by making a pair of PJ Pants! Make them for yourself or as a gift. (If you are gifting them, come to class with the waist, inseam, and waist to floor measurements of your recipient)

Students will trace the pj pant pattern onto fabric, cut them out, then construct them on the sewing machine using straight and zig zag stitches.

  • *Students should have basic sewing skills.
  • 3 yards of quilt-weight cotton (woven, not knit) and 1" wide elastic to waist measurement.

Christina Patzman comes from a long line of seamstresses and jokes that she learned how to sew in her mother's womb. Her grandmother was a dressmaker for 40 years and taught Christina clothing design and sewing with a hands-on and practical approach. Christina started making clothing while in junior high and continued designing and sewing throughout high school. She studied apparel design in college – receiving a BA in Apparel Design in 1991. Christina has had several lines of clothing that have sold both locally and nationally. She has been teaching sewing classes at Fancy Tiger Crafts since 2008, and especially loves helping students with garment design and construction.
