NEW! ONLINE - Wine and Vineyards in Watercolor
Adult Course | Registration opens 2/4/2025 7:00 AM MST
Vineyards beckon artists with their beautiful rolling hills covered in straight rows of vines. Working with the linear layout of rows, study perspective and the arrangement of shapes to create compositions with a high horizon line. Play with repeating colors. shapes, and lines to create a feeling of rhythm and movement. Whether painting vines gently sagging with grapes ripening in the sun or painting a cluster of grapes and a well-aged bottle of wine, mixing a variety of greens will be key. You "heard it through the grapevine," this workshop will expand your landscape skills. Reference material provided. Introductory watercolor experience needed.
