Tuesday Life Drawing: Explore the Human Figure
Adult Course | Registration opens 2/4/2025 7:00 AM MST
Working from a live model, learn fundamental skills of drawing the figure using a structural approach to help gain a basic understanding of human anatomy, proportion, gesture, and value. Charcoal is primary medium, pastel is optional.
- Learning Objectives:
1. Through demonstration from the instructor, students will learn basic understanding of human proportion, gesture, value and strategies for successful drawing.
2. Students will get help and feedback from the instructor while they do their own drawings from a live model.
- Please bring:
-Vine or willow Charcoal
-Kneaded rubber eraser
-Newsprint or Bond Paper 18 x 24
-Charcoal paper
- -Spray fixative
- -Sharpie marker
-Optional: pastel & medium tone pastel papers
- -Optional : Chamois
- -Optional : compressed charcoal or Conte crayon
