Ages 8-10 | Paper Dolls

Paper dolls have been around for centuries and are a super fun way to create art you can interact with. Together we will paint and draw our own dolls!
We will start with some idea generation and then make our dolls. Students will make a jointed doll out of cut paper pieces and a traditional paper doll with an assortment of clothing and accessories! Additionally we will explore making settings or backgrounds for our dolls to play in. Students will use an assortment of drawing and painting materials as well as collage to create. At the end students will be encouraged to share their dolls and a bit about them.
