In this class, we will make creatures using slabs of clay and coils. These can be anything- real animals or imaginary ones! To start, we’ll draw what we want our creatures to look like and talk about how moving from 2D to 3D will work and then start building. Once they are built, we can decorate them with underglazes and fire them. Because this class is so short, we won't have time to glaze pieces in class. Students will decorate with underglaze and the instructor will apply the final clear glaze. Pick up time will be ~1-2 weeks after the session.
