Main objectives in this course include:
-Learn how to use a sewing machine.
-Learn how to use a serger
-Learn how to read a paper pattern
-Learn how to cute fabric
-Learn how to sew fabric pattern pieces together
-Learn what kind of skirt is worth $300 and what is NOT
- This course meets 2x/week: 6/2, 6/4, 6/9 & 6/11
Angela Armijo Nauss
Angela studied at Emerson College in Boston and holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Theatre Design from the University of Connecticut. She gained hands-on experience in garment construction and costume history while preparing antique clothing for exhibitions at the University of Connecticut Historical Clothing and Textile Collection. Angela has worked in costume shops across New England and on television projects in Los Angeles.
