Corset making for all, and with no sewing experience required! Whether you're a novice or an experienced seamstress, this class offers a welcoming environment for all skill levels. Unleash your creativity and leave with a beautifully crafted corset custom-made to flatter your unique style.
The main class objectives include:
-Learn how to use a sewing machine
-Learn about Victorian clothing construction
-Learn how to use a paper pattern
-Learn how to cut a pattern out of fabric
- All supplies will be provided.
*However if you prefer to select & purchase your own fabric you'll need to get 1.25 yards of fabric of your choice for the outside.
Angela Armijo Nauss
Angela studied at Emerson College in Boston and holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Theatre Design from the University of Connecticut. She gained hands-on experience in garment construction and costume history while preparing antique clothing for exhibitions at the University of Connecticut Historical Clothing and Textile Collection. Angela has worked in costume shops across New England and on television projects in Los Angeles.
