Fundamentals of Drawing

Come learn the fundamentals of drawing through hands-on exercises in this engaging, beginner-level class. We will be exploring different materials in each class so you can get a feel for multiple drawing mediums and discover what works best for you! Explore still life, interiors, hands and even a live portrait drawing through this 4 week, intro-level drawing class.
SPECIAL NOTE: A clothed figure model session will occur at the end of this course.
Materials List:
- Strathmore drawing pad size 9x12 or similar product
- Mechanical pencil (the cheap bic ones work great)
- A few regular graphite pencils
- 1 Eraser
- 1 Conte a Paris Charcoal Pencil (Pierre Noire 2B)
- 1 White charcoal pencil

(he/him) I am a painter and muralist living in Denver, CO. My work reflects a love of close, intentional observation of nature and the ease with which nature expresses itself. My subject matter primarily features landscapes, botanicals, and portraits of people and animals. I work in a variety of media including oils, gouache, casein, and colored pencil.
In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and gardening.
