This class teaches introduction to mixing egg tempera paint as well as beginner to advanced color theory and composition. You will also learn the preferred methods for making supports (panels). This class accepts adult students of all levels!
- We will discuss the preferred supply list in the first class. The cost for all pigments, brushes, and palettes is around $130. After the first class student must buy pigments, palette, brushes, etc.
Mark Thompson
Thompson is one of a handful of artists in the United States who have revived the Renaissance art of egg tempera painting. He is a member of the International Guild of Realism and was recently featured in the traveling exhibit ''The New Reality: The Frontier of Realism in the 21st Century."
