Foundations 2 Drawing

It’s time to bring some color into your work! Using combinations of various media, the skills learned in Foundations 1 drawing will be taken to the next level of proficiency! Mix your drawing materials for impact and drama! Get looser in your technique while honing your creative voice! We’ll use photos, a live model, a still-life arrangement and collage to expand your techniques.
You will be using your sketch pad and pencils for your first class. Other materials should be acquired for the next 4 classes.
- Must have drawing experience - This is an intermediate class
- Ebony pencil
#2 writing pencil
Sketch book at least 11” X 14”
Hand-pencil sharpener
Kneaded eraser or white rubber eraser
A variety of drawing materials for exploration:
Pen & Ink
Color pencils
Charcoal
Oil Pastels
Graphite blocks or stix
Inexpensive watercolor box set.
*You don’t have to get expensive versions of the above materials. Small samples, inexpensive sets and single items will work.

Conte crayons in a few of colors
Color pencils
