Ages 14-17 | TSN Printmaking
Children Course | Registration opens 8/5/2025 10:00 AM MDT
Do you want to try something new? Learn how to make a hand pulled print in the ASLD print studio! We start out with monotypes which let you paint and draw on a surface to make a print. From there, I do a weekly demo on a new technique depending on what kind of art you want to make. Like to paint? We can make prints using painterly techniques. Love drawing? Printmaking is perfect for you! Students can expect to make multiple prints per session, learn how to layer multiple images in one print, and learn about printmaking history. Printmaking is a great way to sharpen your art making skills and it will allow you to make multiple images from the same plate. Come experiment and learn some cool new stuff!
- Supplies will be provided by ASLD
Ren Cannon
Ren (they/them) is an artist based in Denver, CO. They have a BFA in Fibers and Drawing from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins although they primarily work as a printmaker and potter right now. They think that the best way to learn is to experiment, make mistakes, and gain some knowledge rather than seeking perfection. When not in the studio, Ren likes to ride bikes, pet dogs, learn about science and nature, and try new things.
