Creative Sewing PM
Adult Course | Registration opens 8/5/2025 10:00 AM MDT
Students will be able to operate the sewing machines and sergers, including the industrial sewing machines, embroidery sewing machine and use sewing notions correctly. The student will be able to ask the instructor for guidance to complete individual projects including, but not limited to:
“art to wear”, clothing alterations, fitting and pattern alterations, costumes, garments, repurposing clothing, mending and repairs, machine embroidery, quilting, gifts, outdoor clothing and equipment, backpacks, purses, and totes.

Vicky Nolan
In addition to being an Emily Griffith Technical College instructor, Vicky is a board member of the Colorado Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (CATFACS). She won Teacher of the Year in 2012 and the Westword Mastermind award in 2009. She is also a member of many professional organizations including the American Sewing Guild and Fashion Group International.
