In this hands-on sampler class, you’ll craft your own custom leather belt from start to finish! Designed for beginners and curious creatives alike, this class introduces the fundamentals of leatherwork while guiding you through each step of building a high-quality belt you’ll be proud to wear. You’ll begin by cutting strips of Herman Oak or English Bridle Leather or selecting from premium belt blanks and choosing your hardware. Then, you'll measure and cut your belt to size, punch holes, and shape the billet and buckle ends. After a brief demo, you'll practice edge beveling, dyeing, and burnishing to give your belt a clean, refined look. Finally, you’ll attach your buckle using rivets or Chicago screws, and have the option to add a custom stamp to personalize your piece. No experience necessary!
