Beyond Beginning Sewing

Have a few more questions about sewing, but understand the basics, just need a refresher, or have one or two "UFP" that need completing, then this is the class for you! This workshop will teach you to expand your sewing knowledge. Bring a project of your choice to the first class.
The student will review operating the sewing machines and sergers, and safe use of equipment. The student will use a pattern to complete a simple garment learning new sewing skills. The student may also learn clothing alterations and repurposing clothing.

Vicky Nolan
In addition to being an Emily Griffith Technical College instructor, Vicky is a board member of the Colorado Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (CATFACS). She won Teacher of the Year in 2012 and the Westword Mastermind award in 2009. She is also a member of many professional organizations including the American Sewing Guild and Fashion Group International.
