Felting a Hat with Brim: Using Alpaca Fiber

This course will teach participants how to felt a hat using wet felting and resist techniques. Participants will go home with a 3D hat shape.
At the completion of this workshop, participants should be able to:
1) Describe natural fibers, especially the properties of Alpaca Fiber.
2) Lay out fibers consistently so that you can make even felt.
3) Create a 3D object (Hat) using a resist, a hat form, and the wet felting method
Must be used to working with your hands.
Wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting wet.
