Fundamentals of Drawing Multi-Generational
Multi-Generational | Registration opens 8/5/2025 10:00 AM MDT
This immersive class is dedicated solely to the art of drawing. It is designed to build the essential skills needed to become a strong, confident draftsman. Referencing the time-tested methods of the Old Masters, students will focus on mastering the craft of drawing—one of the most fundamental pillars of all fine art disciplines.
Students will explore the core elements of proportion, form, line quality, gesture, and value through classical exercises and observational studies. The course emphasizes accuracy, discipline, and artistic sensitivity—training the hand and the eye to see and interpret the world skillfully.
Rather than incorporating any painting components, this course is fully devoted to drawing as a standalone skill and as a foundational practice for students who may pursue oil painting, watercolor, sculpture, or any other medium in the future. By building a solid base in drawing, students will carry forward the craftsmanship and clarity needed to succeed in any artistic path.
