Ages 8-10 | Dare to Draw and Paint
Children Course | Registration opens 8/5/2025 10:00 AM MDT
Come by after school for a complete change of pace and enjoy some art making. We will be using a fun variety of drawing and painting art materials. Focus on creative expressions after practicing new skills and techniques during the start-of-class warm ups. Bring your curiosity and if you explore the new art prompts offered in class you will come away with some fresh, new final projects.
When dropping off your child at their in-studio class, please remain with them until the instructor is present and has opened the studio. Likewise, please respect our instructor’s schedule by arriving on time when picking up your child from class.
- All materials will be provided by the instructor and are included in the material fee.

KarenMaria is a classically trained French Tapestry Weaver and experienced weaver in the Navajo traditions (Pearl Sunrise, teacher). She sidelined her weaving career when the Columbine shootings spurred her into the desire to help youth and she earned her art teaching credentials to serve for 24 years in Colorado.
KarenMaria creates art that invites viewers to slow down, be in their sense of present moment visual experience to discover details and stories in the symbolism and craftsmanship of her work. She works in fiber, watercolor and collage and has shown her art is various fine art galleries in Colorado. Her IG is Lolygaggn.
